Park Hopper Option Returns to Walt Disney World Resort Starting January 2021

Now available, guests who purchased a ticket or annual pass with Park Hopper benefits will be able to visit more than one park per day, with some new modifications as part of Disney’s ongoing focus on health and safety.

With the updated Park Hopper experience, you must make a Disney Park Pass reservation for the first park you plan to visit AND enter that first park prior to visiting another. At this time, a park reservation is not required after the first park, however, reservation requirements are subject to change.

Specific Park Hopper hours will be available. Park Hopper hours will start at 2 p.m. each day and end at the park’s scheduled close time. You will soon be able to check and the My Disney Experience app for the most up-to-date Park Hopper hours.

Rivers of Light’ Dessert Party coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Add a sweet ending to your day by enjoying a beautiful buffet of Disney’s Animal Kingdom-themed desserts, snacks, and drinks before enjoying VIP views of “Rivers of Light.” Guests start by checking in 60 minutes prior to the main show (8:15 p.m. for a 9:15 p.m. show) at the Rivers of Light Asia Viewing Area Terrace located across from Expedition Everest. Here they’ll enjoy house-made desserts, snacks, specialty alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, iced tea, lemonade, and water. When the show is about to start, they’ll head down to the VIP Seating Area, where they’ll enjoy exceptional views of Rivers of Light.

This exciting new dining experience will take place on select nights starting on Monday, August 6, 2018.  The price is $79 for adults and $47 for children (tax inclusive) and must be paid for in full at the time of booking. Cake decorating experience now offered at Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs.

Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs is know for all the gorgeous dome cakes on display. Have you ever wondered, “How do they DO that?…” well, now you have the chance to find out for yourself! The Amorette’s Cake Decorating Experience is now available for booking on Friday mornings from March 31 through May 5, 2017.

Guests will learn the culinary technique used to decorate Amorette’s signature Mickey Dome Cake. This 90-minute class starts in Amorette’s Show Kitchen at 9:00 am (before the bakery opens to the public). The instructor for the class will share stories, tips, and describe the process of decorating an Amorette’s Dome Cake from initial design to the finished product. Specifically, participants will learn how to pour the glacage and coat the ears, tail, belt, and buttons on Mickey with edible paint.
The price for Amorette’s Cake Decorating Experience is $129 plus tax, which covers up to two guests decorating one cake (participants are required to be at least 10 years old to join). Guests wishing to make reservations for more than two people will need to make more than one reservation. Participants staying at a Disney Resort will be provided transportation to Disney Springs starting at 8:00 AM.

Disneyland Resort Egg-stravaganza returns in April

dlresg8967931This fun, egg-themed scavenger hunt will take place from April 1-16, 2017, at Disneyland park, Disney California Adventure park, and Downtown Disney District.

To participate, pick up a map and stickers for $5.99 (plus tax) at select merchandise locations throughout Disneyland Resort. Search for special hidden “eggs” themed to Disney and Pixar characters. Record your discoveries by placing the corresponding sticker on the themed Egg-stravaganza map to represent that location.

Whether you choose to hunt for eggs or not, return your map to a redemption location for a surprise. Redemption locations include the following merchandise shops: Elias & Co. at Disney California Adventure park; Disney Showcase in Disneyland park; World of Disney Store in the Downtown Disney District.

For guests visiting Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, don’t forget the Egg-stravaganza is currently taking place at the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival through May 29, 2017.

 “Beauty and the Beast” Experiences at Walt Disney World Resort

The anticipation grows for the release of the live-action film, “Beauty and the Beast” this Friday, March 17! If you will be visiting Walt Disney World Resort there are plenty of ways to experience the “tale as old as time” every day.

Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage! show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is a must. During this 25-minute Broadway-style show, Belle, Gaston, Beast, Mrs. Potts and all of your other favorites perform songs and scenes from the classic film multiple times each day.
