Cake decorating experience now offered at Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs.

Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs is know for all the gorgeous dome cakes on display. Have you ever wondered, “How do they DO that?…” well, now you have the chance to find out for yourself! The Amorette’s Cake Decorating Experience is now available for booking on Friday mornings from March 31 through May 5, 2017.

Guests will learn the culinary technique used to decorate Amorette’s signature Mickey Dome Cake. This 90-minute class starts in Amorette’s Show Kitchen at 9:00 am (before the bakery opens to the public). The instructor for the class will share stories, tips, and describe the process of decorating an Amorette’s Dome Cake from initial design to the finished product. Specifically, participants will learn how to pour the glacage and coat the ears, tail, belt, and buttons on Mickey with edible paint.
The price for Amorette’s Cake Decorating Experience is $129 plus tax, which covers up to two guests decorating one cake (participants are required to be at least 10 years old to join). Guests wishing to make reservations for more than two people will need to make more than one reservation. Participants staying at a Disney Resort will be provided transportation to Disney Springs starting at 8:00 AM.

Disneyland Resort Egg-stravaganza returns in April

dlresg8967931This fun, egg-themed scavenger hunt will take place from April 1-16, 2017, at Disneyland park, Disney California Adventure park, and Downtown Disney District.

To participate, pick up a map and stickers for $5.99 (plus tax) at select merchandise locations throughout Disneyland Resort. Search for special hidden “eggs” themed to Disney and Pixar characters. Record your discoveries by placing the corresponding sticker on the themed Egg-stravaganza map to represent that location.

Whether you choose to hunt for eggs or not, return your map to a redemption location for a surprise. Redemption locations include the following merchandise shops: Elias & Co. at Disney California Adventure park; Disney Showcase in Disneyland park; World of Disney Store in the Downtown Disney District.

For guests visiting Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, don’t forget the Egg-stravaganza is currently taking place at the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival through May 29, 2017.

 “Beauty and the Beast” Experiences at Walt Disney World Resort

The anticipation grows for the release of the live-action film, “Beauty and the Beast” this Friday, March 17! If you will be visiting Walt Disney World Resort there are plenty of ways to experience the “tale as old as time” every day.

Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage! show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is a must. During this 25-minute Broadway-style show, Belle, Gaston, Beast, Mrs. Potts and all of your other favorites perform songs and scenes from the classic film multiple times each day.

Enjoy a delicious menu of French and American cuisine at Be Our Guest Restaurant at Magic Kingdom Park. This restaurant is open for quick-service breakfast and lunch and table-service dinner, you can dine inside of some of the iconic scenes from Beast’s Castle, including the Grand Ballroom, the Castle Gallery or the West Wing. Little ones ages 3-12 have the chance to be transformed with a Belle dress, special hairstyle, nail designs and more.

Enchanted Tales with Belle will allow you to reenactment this favorite fairytale at Magic Kingdom Park. You will get to share special moments with Belle inside Beast’s library as you have a role in helping to tell this classic story.

Visit Gaston’s Tavern at Magic Kingdom Park for a bite to eat. Decorated with hunting trophies and tons of keepsakes dedicated to Gaston, you can grab a variety of pastries and snacks, including LeFou’s Brew, a delicious frozen apple juice beverage infused with a hint of toasted marshmallow.
